Description:
Metal thread reducers, also known as metal thread reducing rings or metal thread adapters, are a type of metal transition fitting used in mechanical, piping, or electrical connections to convert a large-diameter thread to a small-diameter thread. Made from brass or stainless steel 304, 316 or 316L, they are new standard fittings which are used to reduce, enlarge or adapt thread sizes, they are designed with round or hexagonal type and available in a selection of standard sizes. Add the same or smaller sized threads to clearance holes, adapt threaded holes for different sizes or unit system, they provide a straight forward and reliable connection method between glands and smaller threads.
